Terms of work

These terms apply to work carried out by FlowPulse Ltd, trading as WebOps Foundry. Each quote sets out the scope, price and timing for that job, and the quote wins where it differs from these terms.

Quotes and scope

• Every quote is for a written scope: what is included, what is not, and the assumptions it rests on.
• The price is fixed for that scope. If the work turns out to need something outside it, we tell you and quote it separately before doing it.
• A quote is valid for 30 days.

Payment

• Jobs of £650 or more need a 50% deposit before work starts, with the balance due on completion.
• Smaller jobs are invoiced on completion.
• FlowPulse Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

How we work on your site

• We take a backup before changing anything, and test changes on a staging copy where the hosting allows it.
• Every release has a rollback plan.
• Send access details through the secure link we provide, never by email. We remove our access when the job is finished, unless you ask us to keep it.

Your part

• Access to the hosting, code and services the job needs.
• A named person who can answer questions and approve the work.
• Licences for any paid software, themes or plugins the site uses.

Urgent work

Work on a site that is down or hacked is started as soon as we can, and is quoted or confirmed by email as soon as the scale of the problem is clear.
